The state of Michigan has issued its rules and regulations and fishing guide in effect through March 31, 2022, that affect specific fish in specific bodies of water. FISHING GUIDE.
There also is an ICE FISHING GUIDE created by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. In it, you’ll learn about ice fishing basics, catch and release, safety, hook and line, spearing (another form of ice fishing) and much more. (Not sure why Barron Lake isn’t included in this list, but there are other nearby lakes so it’s safe to assume guide applies to Barron Lake, as well.)
