Who We Are and What We Do

The Barron Lake Association is a voluntary organization that works to maintain and protect the quality of the lake by overseeing aquatic plant management, fish stocking, boating safety, maintaining legal water levels, and working with governmental agencies to effect ordinances and lake management practices.

The association also strives to build a sense of community with its residents by creating an information network (newsletters, emails, website and social media) to keep all informed, and hosting family-friendly events.

Activities and programs carried out by the Barron Lake Association Board and its members are completed by volunteers who generously give of their time and talents.

  • Board of Directors
  • Lake Liaison (Liaisons help gather feedback, and share important news with residents, and assist with other activities.)
  • Interfacing with township officials
  • Attendance at the monthly township board meetings
  • Coordinating water and boating safety class with Cass County Sheriff Marine Division
  • Communication and information distribution
