A message from the lake association board:
Nov. 5, 2025
The augmentation pump has been running on and off for about three weeks using a week-on/week-off operation schedule, which has been implemented by the Cass County Drain Commissioner.
The Drain Commissioner’s Office will ensure the pump is running according to the schedule and will track pump usage data. If the Drain Commissioner is unable to get to the pump to turn it on or off, the Lake Association has several people trained to operate it and will assist to ensure the pump runs according to the schedule.
If anyone has questions or concerns, those should now be directed to the Cass County Drain Commissioner’s Office. (269) 445-8611, ext. 315, Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 p.m.
As of 10/21/25, the current lake level is 754.1’. The legal lake level is 756.5’. We plan to recommend to the Drain Commissioner that the pump be operated 24/7 beginning in December until the legal lake level is reached. This is within the guidelines established by EGLE.
We need a wet winter and spring, along with the operation of the pump, to get the lake level up to its legal level.
