The Howard Township FIre Department is celebrating 75 years of serving the Howard Township community. In recognition of this milestone, the Fire Department will host an Open House from 1 to 6 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the fire station, 2681 Detroit Road (corner of M-60 and Barron Lake Road.)
The open house will include a tour of the facility and a corn and sausage roast. A donation of $8 is being asked for one brat and one ear of corn. Also available will be sides and drinks, plus hot dogs for the kids. First-come, first-served.
