A cannabis festival is planned for Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Riverfront South Park, Front Street, in Niles.
The festival will showcase a variety of cannabis brands from Michigan, along with food vendors and live entertainment by local bands.
Festival-goers must wear a mask to enter the park and must social distance. Those who present their vaccination card will receive a gift. (As of this writing, the state of Michigan requires face masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated persons who will be in large groups.)
General admission tickets are $100, plus a $7.72 fee, to be in the festival from either 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. A VIP exclusive pass is $250, plus a $16.85 fee, and allows festival goers to attend from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The VIP pass includes a festival gift bag, laminate and admittance to the front viewing area.
