Dear Association Members,
We received notification from the Cass County Drain Commissioner that the work to repair the Lake Shore Drive boat launch will begin in the next few days. There will be some days when the launch will not be accessible. At this time, we have not been given the exact days when the work is being done or the exact days when the launch will be closed. But we wanted to at least give everyone a heads up on the project.
We’d also like to thank everyone who took the time to respond to the survey about purchasing 800 walleye to stock the lake. There were 78 responses: 69 yes, 9 no. Placing the order now locks in the price, and the fish will be dropped into the lake in the fall.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the next Barron Lake Association Social Night next Thursday, July 24, at 6 p.m., at the Lakeside Bar and Grill. Hope to see you all there.
