What's New|

Hello Barron Lake Association members,

I hope this letter finds everyone well.

On behalf of the BLA board members, I would like to extend our wishes for a Happy Independence Day (and weekend) to all. Let’s all enjoy time with family, friends and neighbors and practice safety on land as well as on water.

I know I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating. Please be considerate of all of our residents when it comes to playing music—especially late at night—and the type of music played. We’ve already received calls from neighbors concerning music with profane language being blasted. There are many children and grandchildren around most weekends and residents should not have to worry about what these kids will hear.  Thank you for keeping that in mind.

At the request of board member Bill Newhouse, I am including a precipitation report for the lake. Fellow association member Norbert Wleklinski has been monitoring our rainfall for years. Thank you, Norbert, for your service.  View the monthly precipitation report.

We have had some calls regarding muskrats. For those who have concerns about this, there will be a trapper who will speak at our July 12 meeting at the firehouse. Please plan to attend to have your questions answered.

Again, have a wonderful holiday weekend.
