Residents of Howard Township in need of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms can obtain them free from the Howard Township Fire Department, thanks to a program offered in the state of Michigan.
To qualify, you must be a Howard Township resident. The fire department must install them in the residence. It is an ongoing program and residents can obtain as many as are needed.
To secure the alarms, contact the fire department through Facebook (Howard Firefighters) or call the station at (269) 215-0094 and leave a message. Fire personnel will call back to schedule the installation.
