The 2026 Hunter Ice Festival will be the weekend of Jan. 16-18 throughout downtown Niles.
As always, there will be family-friendly fun all weekend with dozens of ice sculptures lining the streets throughout the city, live ice carving demonstrations, downtown business specials, and warm treats.
Mark your calendars so you don’t miss the fun!
The festival, which is sponsored by the Niles Downtown Development Association, pays tribute to the history of the Hunter Brothers Ice and Ice Cream Company, which created delicious ice cream at the turn of the century and cut ice blocks out of Barron Lake that were shipped throughout the country.
