The first weed inspection will be Friday, May 22. Roughly 7 to 10 days after that, the company will apply anything that needs to be done. Remember, if you see a posting in your yard, your area was treated and you should follow the instructions on the card posted. If there is no posting in the yard, the area was not treated, and precautions are not needed.
The water level has been great, and I’d like to once again thank Norbert Wleklinski for keeping track year-round of the data on our precipitation. He said the rain total from May 1 through May 15 is .097”, versus an average of 2.10”.
Also, thanks to Fred Fornell, who reported the lake is perfect right now. He said we are at pump-to-pump level of 756.5’, and noted that precipitation, enriched water table and water from our augmentation well have all helped us get here. Fred reminded us that the goal has always been to pump through the winter months and let spring precipitation get us to where we need to be and added that the lake level gauge will be available to all once we get a new survey completed and we expect that survey soon.
Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.
