Another winter is almost behind us. Our new well has run all but one day so far. With all the rain and snow the lake is coming back to life. We all know the well isn’t filling the lake, but it is definitely helping to stop the receding.
Our weed people, Restorative Lake Services (RLS), have been contracted for another year at no increase in cost, and will start again in May to monitor the lake.
If anyone was wondering, we did stock the lake late last fall with walleye, so this year will be an off year.
I was thinking about the picnic we had last year and how much everyone enjoyed it. If we would like to attempt it again this year, we need volunteers and ideas at our first meeting in June. If you can’t make it to the meeting but would like to offer ideas and/or your help, please send an email to barronlakeassociation@gmail.com.
